The continuing of visual research

I have continued to gather visual research, looking at flowers, plants, trees etc to help bring my designs together. Looking at tropical, exotic and oriental flowers to draw and paint from.

The colour collection

Going back to colour, colour is the main idea in this project with the title being tropical. Using paint and mixing paint to get that tropical look. I have been looking at journals, trends, what's on the market to get the bright, exotic colours.

Trying new approaches to develop my ideas

Now I am looking at other ways to develop my ideas by trying new methods. I will be looking at using different media, experimenting with different approaches. Looking at visual research to develop new drawings and paintings.

The mono collection

Now I'm looking at other ways to develop my ideas, by changing the use off media I use. Coming away from colour by using black ink on white to create compositions. Looking at new visual research and not only looking at tropical but also oriental. Now I am looking at other skills to create more designs. I will also be taking theses design through to CAD to add colour in areas.

Paradise

Paradise. This where I got my theme from. But it's not all sun, sea and sand! It's all about the birds, flowers, sea life etc!

The fish collection

I have been looking at different types off fish such as tropical, deep water fish and fresh water fish. Looking at the beautiful colours and the shapes and sizes. I have also been looking at corals, shells and rocks to create backgrounds.

Osborne and Little

I have been also looking at the way Osborne and little apply there design to wall paper. I want to find different ways of lay outs for my collections so that there isn't any similarity. Everything's all go now for designing!
